AudioTask Privacy Policy

AudioTask may collect the following information:

• Account information, such as email address and authentication provider
• Voice recordings submitted by you
• Transcripts generated from voice recordings
• AI-generated notes, tasks, reminders, deadlines, and follow-up drafts
• Text notes created by you
• App usage information, such as feature usage, limits, and subscription status
• Device and technical information needed for app security, debugging, and performance
• Payment and subscription status through app store or subscription providers

We use this information to:

• Provide the AudioTask service
• Convert voice notes into transcripts
• Generate tasks, reminders, deadlines, and follow-up drafts
• Sync user data across devices when applicable
• Manage free trial usage and Pro subscription access
• Improve app reliability, security, and performance
• Respond to support requests
• Comply with legal, payment, tax, fraud-prevention, or platform requirements

When you submit a voice note, AudioTask may process the recording and transcript using third-party AI service providers to generate tasks, reminders, deadlines, summaries, and follow-up drafts. Your audio and transcript are processed only to provide the features you request.

We do not sell your voice notes, transcripts, or generated notes.

OpenAI may be used for speech-to-text and AI processing. Third-party AI providers may process data according to their own privacy and data processing terms.

AudioTask may use third-party services to operate core app features. These providers process data only for the purposes needed to provide, maintain, secure, or bill for the service.

AudioTask does not directly collect or store your full payment card details. Payments and subscriptions are handled by the app store or subscription provider. We may receive subscription status, purchase identifiers, country, product purchased, renewal status, and related payment metadata needed to manage your Pro access.

We keep your account data and notes for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Some records may be retained for a limited period where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, tax, payment, or platform compliance reasons.

Voice recordings may be retained only as needed to process your requested AudioTask features, support app reliability, and maintain the service. If a more specific audio deletion rule is added to the app, we will update this policy to describe it.

You can delete your AudioTask account from inside the app by going to Settings → Account → Delete Account.

If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing support@deepzed.com from the email address linked to your AudioTask account.

Deleted account data may include:

• Account profile
• AI voice notes
• Transcripts
• Tasks and reminders
• Follow-up drafts
• Text notes
• App usage data linked to the account

Some payment, security, fraud-prevention, or legal records may be retained if required by law or platform requirements.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

AudioTask is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your country of residence, depending on the infrastructure and service providers used to operate AudioTask.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make important changes, we may notify you through the app or by other appropriate means.
